Courtship vs Dating

The difference between courting and dating is simple..... One is with one other person and the other is with more people. Dating is going out with the most physically appealing person and then when you get tired of them time for another. Courtship is waiting until you find that one, praying to make sure that this is the one that God has chosen for you since before you where born. I once heard someone say it's like a box of chocolate's, pick one up pass it around from person to person until it's mushy and gross or take one and give it to one person, which one would you rather have? Personally I would choose the one that was handed to me and only me. Think about your future spouse, which one do you think they would rather have? I think you know the answer. When you pray and seek and trust that God will show you in His time the one He has chosen for you, your saying that you put your full trust in Him and no one else, when you date your saying "I don't think that God has the power to show me who I am to spend the rest of my life with". Courtship is practice for marriage, and dating is practice for divorce. But that's just what I believe :).
